Mumbai, May 9 -- Morning my mushroom risottos! I know you missed me yesterday, so here I am, back again with nuggets more natkhat than the last time to make up for the break. So instead of mulling over Moanday blues, let us get started with your dose of daily goss from glamour gaon, which no one else will tell you about. So read on sweetums...
For starters, I've just been informed that Akshay Kumar opted to cancel his weekend trip to Mumbai. Yeah, the actor who's been shooting away from home was missing his family and had planned to spend a couple of days with biwi Twinkle and Aarav puttar before returning to South Africa where he's shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 4.
Reason: Seems he felt it would be better to wrap up the show in a few days and return home on May 10-11 for good instead. Sher Lock Holmes tells me that the actor's done some daring stuntbaazi for his show's music video recently. Apart from spending quality time with the scorpions, who stung him too, Kumar revisited his Khiladi movies days with an airborne stunt.
However, this time he was chilling out in a hammock hanging from a speeding plane... And my super sleuth tells me that it was not only a very difficult sequence, but also time-consuming to get a perfect take. Nonetheless, Akki wasn't perturbed, for he was enjoying the dare-devilry to the fullest, I'm told. And when the shot was okayed, everybody cheered the actor for his stunning stunbaazi.
Chalo, badhiya hai. Now, I just hope the post-production is as perfect. Because the scene he did in one of his Khiladi films, by standing on the outside of a plane, didn't look very real. More the shot-in-the-studio and composited-with-the plane-speeding-in-the-air kinds, I must say. Tsk tsk.
